Stress management is related to making the situation more understandable, manageable and meaningful. Here continues my answer to the question: What can you do when you are forced to stay at home for a longer time period during these times

This post is about how you can handle negative and worrying thoughts by working on your your attitude, more specifically, your sense of coherence.

Stress management by strengthening your sense of coherence

Sense of conherence distinguishes those who manage to handle stressful life situations with less negative impact on their well-being. This is true even during this crisis. You can do this by trying to make the situation more:
1) understandable
2) manageable
3) meaningful

Go through the 3 dimensions and develop counter-arguments to what you wrote in your replies to the last post regarding what you could see in this crisis that is NOT currently: 1) understandable
2) manageable
3) meaningful

Write 3 counter-arguments for each of the 3 dimensions, EVEN if you disagree right now.
