There are important therapeutic and developmental processes such as reflection and validation, when one becomes and feels psychologically understood and seen by getting confirmations from another person who is reflecting one’s state. One can learn to mirror oneself and thus give oneself some of the necessary validations that we need to get to get to know ourselves, feel understood and maintain good mental health.

Study today how mirroring is present and absent around you.
Notice if you can see any changes in the state of the other person when you mirror that person.
