Next time you hear your anger, try the 8 steps:<\/p>\n

1 Notice the anger and, if necessary, calm yourself down with the 8-second strategy<\/p>\n

2 Name the anger<\/p>\n

3 Locate the anger in your body<\/p>\n

4 Note how strong the anger is on a scale of 1 to 10<\/p>\n

5 Try to understand the cause of the anger<\/p>\n

6 Listen to what the anger spontaneously wants you to do and say it to yourself<\/p>\n

7 Understand whether anger is a real emotion or reaction to another emotion or a defense mechanism<\/p>\n

8 Transform your anger into healthy and mature self-assertion and action by telling yourself what you feel, think and need to do based on what is wise to do in the actual situation.<\/p>\n

After confirming your anger with these steps, it is likely to decrease with a healthier end result.<\/p>\n
