Feel better by making life more the way you want (1 minute read)
Here are more suggestions on how to improve your sense of coherence. The focus is on increasing your experience of life as being understandable, manageable and meaningful. This is particularly effective in reducing the negative effects of stress and crises like this one on your health.
Research has shown that you can strengthen your sense of coherence by making your life more the way you want:
1 Identify your 2-3 most important goals.
2 detail your goals, preferably with the SMART model (see posts under life goals.
3 Translate your goals into concrete behaviors.
4 Schedule time for your goals, preferably 30 minutes a day as early as possible in the day.
