The previous post was about how you can try to create more meaning in your life and feel better despite the fact that cruel crises such as this one can be perceived as completely meaningless.

The researcher Antonovsky suggests that it is most important to focus on developing general resources such as strengthening your:

– self-efficacy, our confidence in coping with difficult situations such as in crises.

– self-esteem – how we value ourselves even when things are not going the way we hope.

This is because they determine the extent to which we can access situation-specific resources.
