Increase your self-esteem by being more kind towards yourself (1 minute read)
This post continues with how you can feel better during this crisis. You can do this by developing both your self-esteem and your self-confidence as these are interconnected. The latest posts have been about how you can strengthen your self-esteem by being aware of your positive traits and what you are proud of. Here it is about how you increase your self-esteem by being more kind towards yourself.
Increase your self-esteem by being more kind towards yourself
Read your list over your 10 positive traits and the 10 areas that you are proud of – preferably right now. I also suggest that from now on you will be more kind and understanding towards yourself. Pay attention to ensure that you are gentle with yourself. Listen to your inner voice and talk to yourself in a supportive and encouraging way.
Say something supportive to yourself. If you have a challenge in life right now, this is especially important.
Listen during the day:
What do you say to yourself? What tone are you using?
Do you talk to yourself in a kind and supportive way?
If not – How can you reformulate it into something more kind and more supportive?
