Increase your self-esteem by validating yourself every morning (1 minute read)

This post continues with how you can feel better during this crisis. You can do this by developing both your self-esteem and your self-confidence as they are interconnected.

The last posts have been about how you can increase your self-esteem by being aware of your positive traits and what you are proud of. This post is about the importance of reminding yourself every day about your positive traits and what you are proud of in 3 steps. Here is Step 1: Validate yourself every morning.

 

Validate yourself every morning

It is very important that you often remind yourself of your positive traits and what you are proud of. This is important since we humans have a natural tendency to focus on handling changes and improvements. Therefore, we need to remind ourselves of everything that is already good about ourselves. The treasures we already carry within us.

 

Try this:

Step 1: Read your positive traits and what you are proud of every morning.

Do this at least until it no longer causes discomfort.

Do it at the same time as you do something you usually do in the morning to make it easier for you to remember.

Maybe when you are having breakfast or when you brush your teeth or when you transport yourself to work or school.
