If you are like most of the people I meet on a daily basis, this exercise: reading aloud to yourself your positive traits, features and what you are proud of, usually awakens various degrees of discomfort.

Something that separates people with good mental health from those with periods of unnecessary psychological despair: the presence of a stern inner critic. In order to strengthen one’s self-esteem, it is very important to be very careful about how you talk to yourself and describe yourself. Often, we are not aware of this.
Once again, read your list of your beautiful features, positive traits and what you are proud of. If you hear an inner negative voice, write down literally what you hear.
