Increase your self-esteem by exploring yourself (1 minute read)
This post “Increase your self-esteem by exploring yourself” continues with how you can increase your self-esteem.
Increase your self-esteem by exploring yourself:
A first step in exploring yourself is to get to know yourself by observing yourself and asking questions about your everyday life.
Exploring yourself means more than just listening to yourself. It also means asking yourself specific questions to explore your experiences and opinions in different areas.
Research confirms that self-awareness can lead to more perceived harmony, happiness and life satisfaction.
Try this:
Have a routine of asking yourself 3 times during the day, for example. at meals:
- What do I think?
- What do I feel?
- what does that make me do?
- what consequences does that have for my life?
Also, explore your values with these 10 questions:
1 What is important in my life?
2 Which activities do I want to prioritize?
3 What do I not want to focus on?
4 What do I stand for?
5 How do I want others to look at me?
6 What do I want to achieve?
7 What do I want to do more of?
8 What do I want to start doing?
9 What do I want to do less of?
10 What do I want to stop doing?
