This post continues with how you can feel better during this crisis. You can do this by developing both your self-esteem and your self-confidence as these are interconnected. The latest posts have been about how you can strengthen your self-esteem by being aware of your positive traits. Here, the post continues with how you can increase your self-esteem by noting what you are proud of.
Noting what you are proud of
By identifying what you are proud of, you can get a fuller picture of yourself. It also makes it easier for you to deal with adversities.
Remember – you are never just an event. Things happen and sometimes things go worse than expected. Then it is important to remember this difference.
Important areas to explore in order to document what you are proud of are:
Completed education and work
If you have done something brave, different, difficult – activities, trips etc.
Challenges you managed
Changes you have implemented and begun
Relationships you have
Values you have
See if you can identify something you are proud of in each of the above areas.
