Increase your self-esteem by visualizing the values of your role models (1 minute read)
This post ‘Increase your self-esteem by visualizing the values of your role models’ continues with techniques to increase your self-esteem.
It is important to visualize, to practice seeing things in front of you. This also applies to your role models who show the core values that you would like to live by.
Increase your self-esteem by visualizing the values of your role models:
Our core values are what drives our behaviors and activities. What is important and unimportant in our lives. What is right and wrong to do.
They drive, among other things, how we look at money and assets. How we think we should behave towards others, animals and nature.
It is important for self-esteem to clarify your values because they are building blocks for who you are and ideally want to be. Living in harmony with this strengthens our confidence in ourselves. It gives us the experience that we can control our lives.
Try this:
Think about other people – your role models – who show your values. What distinguishes them with regard to these values:
- How do they seem to feel and think in different situations?
- What do they prioritize?
- How would they behave in different situations?
- How would they not behave?
