Better self-esteem: How to create motivating goals

Last post introduced the SMART model to get in a desired direction.

The model stands for 5 important characteristics that can help you detail and hence easier create and achieve motivating goals:

Specific

Measurable

Achievable

Relevant

Time Limited

This post is about how important it is to make you goals specific:

Goals should be concrete and reflect how life will be when you have reached your goal.

Remember to use active words that indicate a direction for your desired state.

The goal ‘better sleep’ is a start, but ‘feeling rested’ is even more concrete because it describes an experience and is easier to evaluate.
